Wakefield Athletic "B" fell to their third consecutive defeat against the vastly experienced Hemsworth MW Reserves in this Division Three fixture.
 
The visitors turned in a solid second-half display to claim maximum points.  It could have been all different had the host pushed on after hauling themselves back into the game after falling behind to a sucker punch in the opening five minutes.
 
Wakefield settled and slowly clicked into gear, levelling after Marc Shaw anticipated the bobbling through ball before racing on goal and rounding off the keeper and slotting the ball home.
 
Half-tine cost Wakefield their momentum and Hwmsworth took full advantage, individual errors and clinical finish saw them secure victory.  The WYCO man-of-the match award for Wakefield Athletic "B" was shared by Chris Wood, Henry Tang and Marc Shaw.
